October 4th is National Golf Lover’s Day! This day is observed on this day because on October 4, 1895, the first-ever U.S. Open Championship was held in Newport, Rhode Island. For today, Howard letterpress printed the only golf related cut that we have in our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum.
