Continuing on with my DMT series, let’s talk about interferons! This includes medication’s like avonex, rebif, betaseron and plegridy. These medications have been around the longest and are all injected. They do require some lab monitoring and are about 30% effective in reducing new relapses, similar to Copaxone.
