#PENSION: The Dallas City Council approved an 1$1 billion funding plan to rebuild the fire and police pension over the next 30 years. It also agreed to settle its long-running lawsuit with the pension board. The center of last year’s lawsuit is who has the final authority to approve a plan to fix a nearly $3 billion pension shortfall.
